A study published in Medical Journal of Armed Forces of India in 2007 shows that biofeedback therapy is efficient in managing symptoms of anxiety in patients diagnosed with various psychiatric conditions. This study was conducted on one hundred patients over a period of 8 weeks. It found also found that a combination of biofeedback therapy and pharmacotherapy facilitates a speedy recovery.
