People might hear voices or see images that don’t exist. They form a false belief and accept it as true despite evidence that prove them wrong. 3. Impulse control Disorder

4. Paranoid Personality Disorder

This is a type of personality disorder characterised by unusual and eccentric ways of thinking. They hold a strong belief that others are constantly trying to harm them or threaten them in any way. This refrains them from forming a close relationship with others.

5. Stress response syndromes

People develop Stress Response Syndromes when they pick up a particular emotional or behavioural symptom in response to a certain stressful incident. The stress factors can be a natural disaster or an accident or any major illness or personal reasons such as divorce. This syndrome usually starts to show by a few months of the stressful event and may last a few months after the stress factor is been eliminated. 6. Dissociative disorder
