This mental disorder is characterised by the patient’s delusional belief that people (mostly familiar to the patient) can change their guise and can take on the appearance of a stranger. As such, patients believe that different people are actually one single person changing their appearance from time to time. This syndrome is common in people suffering from Schizophrenia. 3.Dissociative Amnesia

However, it can resurface if triggered by the patient’s surroundings.

4.Stendhal Syndrome

This condition is characterised by emotional and physical anxiety that a can amount to a panic attack when the patient is exposed to a work of art. The symptoms are usually triggered when the patient is exposed to a large number of artworks in a single place.

5.Diogenes Syndrome

This behavioural disorder is common in elderly people. The symptoms involve social withdrawal, living in unhygienic conditions, and self-neglect. This condition is usually associated with progressive dementia.
